Hand of Fate out on Mac - Early Access Impressions

Deckbuilding comes to life in Hand of Fate! An infinitely replayable series of quests - earn new cards, build your deck, then try to defeat it!

The game is extremely fascinating, combing a trading card game, with action rpg and rogue like. Many would have failed and given the public a hobbled mess of slapped on features. Instead Defiant have wonderfully crafted the game and mechanics, so as to make you feel like you're being guided by a Poker dealing Dungeon Master. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the it all blends together and plays. The game is still in development, and I have never liked the idea of Early Access, but Hand of Fate certainly has amazing promise. The music is good, although not finished, and the graphics despite using the Unity engine runs and looks really well. Although sadly the maximum resolution was only 1920x1080. Something easily forgiven due to the game still actively being worked on. I certainly enjoyed it, and I look forward to playing more as it develops.
